Our team has decade's worth of experience working on software development. Human hours are the most expensive part of the matchmaking process. We use technology to help power our matchmakers, while still leveraging their dating expertise to review your matches. By automating many parts of the matchmaking process, we can pass our savings onto you!

We also reduce matchmaker time by cutting out phone calls and getting to know each person deeply (as much as we'd like to!). If you're looking for a personalized, white-glove service then we suggest you go the traditional matchmaker route! Just be prepared to pay between $5-20k.

Absolutely not! We created ValleyMatch because we saw a gap in the matchmaking market for regular people. Many people do not have the discretionary income to put towards their dating life. We believe everybody deserves to find lasting love (who wants it) and we mean everybody (unless you're a jerk!). We want to make putting yourself out there less scary.

Unlike other matchmaking services, we do not need to hit a match quota in a certain amount of time. We find that quotas like these incentivize sending you out on dates that aren't truly a mutual match. At ValleyMatch, we share photos and allow both parties to ask screener questions before agreeing to meet.

We do offer our MatchPass package which allows you to purchase 3 matches at a time. However, there is no timeframe for those matches. By removing the time constraint, the incentives are right for both parties to make sure only matches you are comfortable w are "counted".

For our continuous matchmaking package (Core), the number of matches you qualify for will largely be dependent on how narrow your preferences are and how well your profile matches others’ preferences. Even if 100 people match what you're looking for, only 10 of them may like your profile and photo.

If you are on our Core package, the typical member will receive 2-7 matches per month. These are the factors that would impact how many matches you might receive:

• how open-minded you are about your match
• how desirable your profile and photos are
• how free your schedule is
• how responsive you are to your matchmaker

If you are on our MatchPass package, you will pay for 3 mutually approved dates at a time. Clients who are pickier, busier, or in a tougher demographic (or geography) usually select MatchPass and because of this it can take anywhere from 4-10 months to get all 3 dates. If you are very picky (defined as you reject at least 9 matches presented to you), then we reserve the right to refund half your money back. Rest assured, we will not present any match to you who doesn't meet at least 80% of the criteria in your account.

As a free member, we won’t actively search for someone that matches your preferences. That means you will only have a chance at matching with less than 10% of our database. However, it's a great way to get a taste of our service without paying - if you're lucky to match with a paying client.

If a paying client's profile matches yours, we might reach out to you to see if you're interested in meeting them. If they also agree, you’ll be set up on a date for free! Being a free member is a great way to dip your toes into the process—upgrade at any time to receive 10x the number of matches.
